Imaging and Therapy in Peripheral Vascular Disease

Details: The technologies of CTA and MRA are at the forefront in diagnosis and treatment planning of cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases. During this course imaging faculty will emphasize image acquisition, post processing and interpretative review strategies. Clinical faculty will emphasize clinical indications, key imaging features, therapeutic options and management in vascular disease. Several interactive workstation reviews have also been added to further enhance the clinical presentations.

Details: We are currently analyzing the 2009 CMHC survey and evaluation results to design a curriculum to provide the most effective, current strategies for the prevention, diagnosis, and management of type 2 diabetes, atherosclerosis, hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity, thrombosis, chronic kidney disease, and related comorbidities.
